Video Questions

How can you view Cal High differently?
You can plan out a shot using Cal to tell a story or think about what the most impressive aspects about it are.

How could you photograph it differently to make it look exciting and interesting?
You can try to take a lot of different pictures with different perspectives and angles to get the best possible shot.

Cinemagraph

1. Our Team's concept was to have bubbles shown moving without me making any movement at all, I would say that we were successful because you can only see movement by the bubbles and I am stuck in the same position the whole time.
2. I was most involved in the creative and technical part of the process as I help set up the scene as we wanted it and came up with the idea it as well as doing a lot of the photoshop process.
3.  I would have try to set up the camera settings and lighting to make the video a little more clear than it turned out to be.
4. This wasn't a particularly difficult project except for maybe making it clear the best camera settings to use.
5. We balanced the work really well between all of us, with everyone contributing something in each part of the project. So I would say we worked well as a team.

Shooting Water Droplets

Colored water no flash
F8 Shutter Speed: 1/500 s ISO:3200

1. It was very difficult to get a good shot because it was hard to focus on the right area and to be able to take an image that was light enough
2. I didn't like how difficult it was to set up the lights so that we could get enough light into the photo.

Shooting water in burst mode.

1. It was pretty difficult to get a good shot because it took a lot of time and patience to try and get a good shot.
2. I liked how easy it was to get  a lot of shots in burst mode and it was easier to focus the camera.

Burst mode colored water

1. It was difficult to get a good shot from the best angle to show of the colored water interacting with the droplet.
2. Our team tried a lot of different angles to get the best shot and best show the interaction between the water and the colored drop.

Shooting Water With Flash
F8 Shutter Speed: 1/500 s ISO:1600

1.  This was the easiest shot to get a good picture before because the flash allowed us to not have to worry as much about the lighting.
2. I liked that shooting with flash allowed us to not have to do as much lighting set-up and still be able to get a good focused picture.
